B Street Takes Around the World in 80 Days to India

Back in 2004, the B Street Theatre in Sacramento, CA was one of first theatres to produce Around the World in 80 Days. The B Street was having financial troubles and my show was just getting its legs. The production was a smash hit. It extended three times and ran for an ironical total of 80 days. "An antic and hilarious stage tour de force that delighted the nearly full house at the B Street Theatre."  - Sacramento Bee More importantly, [...]

The Isle of Memories

The other day I posted about how years ago I recorded some of my songs in my living room. The songs were mostly meditations about loss and loneliness. I found trying to keep my daughter on a schedule and pursue an acting career were at odds with each other. And truth be told, I has grown weary of being an actor and wanted to concentrate on my then burgeoning writing career. So here's me in Out of Sight, Holy Man, Ally McBeal, Clover, [...]

Tom Jones

I was commissioned to write a musical adaptation of the novel Tom Jones. Trying to schedule work time with my musical writing partner, Paul Mirkovich, has been tricky. Paul is the musical director of the TV show The Voice and his work schedule is insane. House elves have easier schedules (Ooo, Harry Potter reference geek alert). I'm hoping we'll have the music done by the end of the summer. In the meantime, I took the book for the musical and [...]
