Tap Dancing Toddler

This tap-dancing preschooler is either a future Broadway star/diva or plastered beyond belief. And I love the dubiousness of the little girl on the right as she attempts to ignore the girl and do the choreography.

Obama Catches Fainting Woman

During a speech this morning abut the Affordable Care Act, a women behind President Obama appeared to faint. Obama was able to help catch the woman before she took a header to the platform. It's Obamacare in action: He's there to catch you if you're not feeling well. Or the details of the Affordable Care Act made her woozie. Or -- and most likely -- she's a zombie who needed to feast on fresh brains. Whichever scenario, she'll most likely be [...]

Alison Gold’s Cataclysmically Terrible New Single – “Chinese Food”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWLhrHVySgA   Oh my god! Ark Factory Music, who brought us Rebecca Black's preadolescent crap song "Friday," have outdone themselves with the release of Alison Gold's single "Chinese Food." I don't really know where to begin. The "Chinese Food" video is so cataclysmically terrible it's hard to stop watching it. Every second that goes by you're thinking "Oh my god, they didn't just do that, did they?" In the video, Gold, after a night of balling and clubbing [...]

Marvels & Monsters Preview Reception

This Thursday come on down to the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles to see the amaze-balls Marcus Choi and Jon Jon Briones sing my song Evil is a Yellow Face for the Preview Reception for Marvels & Monsters: Unmasking Asian Images in U.S. Comics, 1942-1986. Marcus, Jon Jon, and I rehearsed the song today and they made me laugh pretty hard. Marcus is playing the arch-villain Ming the Merciless and Jon Jon is playing the insidious Fu Manchu. Marcus [...]

It’s Time For The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge

October is here and that means theatre companies are gearing up for their holiday shows. And what better show to prepare for than The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge, that "hilarious sequel to A Christmas Carol" that is "worthy of Dickens' approval?" The Southeast Alabama Community Theatre in Dothan, Alabama just announced the cast for their production of The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge -- that "inventive and delightful play that is a worthy new entry into the holiday canon." Congratulations to one and all.
