First Public Performance of Tom Jones the Musical

The other week we did our first public performance of songs from my show Tom Jones the Musical. I was really happy with the way it went.

We performed at The Rockwell Table and Stage out here in Los Angeles as part of the Foundation for New American Musicals’ program Musical-Cal.

I was fairly nervous about how the songs would be received, but it couldn’t have gone much better. We had a great cast. Deedee Magno Hall, Cliffton Hall, Jennifer Sun Bell, and Anthea Neri. And my friend and collaborator Paul Mirkovich even sang one of the songs.
