The Nutshell

When Frosty the Snowman’s human wife discovers he’s having an affair,  she goes to see her best friend, Noel Claus, to plan her revenge. But things soon go wildly offtrack. Love, life, and friendship are at risk in a comedy about infidelity, secrecy, lies and the choices we make.

The Backstory

The Human Race Theatre in Dayton, OH posted on Facebook that they were looking for holiday shows geared towards an adult audience. They’re leaning heavily into alternative shows to A Christmas Carol, It’s a Wonderful Life, etc. I jokingly commented that I would write one. They contacted me and said they’d commission me to write a show for them.  I said yes, and pitched them the idea of a then panicked about writing it. Thankfully, a few months later I had a finished script. After a few Zoom readings, I went to Ohio to do a workshop of it. Everyone at the theatre loved it. I head back to The Human Race Theatre in November, 2024 for rehearsals and the world premiere of A Frosty Night.

The Human Race Theatre has put a lot of faith in me. A few years ago the theatre produced my play Around the World in 80 Days, and in 2023 they produced the world premiere of my musical This is Tom Jones!
