October is here and that means theatre companies are gearing up for their holiday shows. And what better show to prepare for than The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge, that “hilarious sequel to A Christmas Carol” that is “worthy of Dickens’ approval?”
The Southeast Alabama Community Theatre in Dothan, Alabama just announced the cast for their production of The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge — that “inventive and delightful play that is a worthy new entry into the holiday canon.” Congratulations to one and all.
Random fact: Many many years ago I did a tour with the Asolo Repertory Theatre and we played Dothan for a day.
The Columbia Theatre in Longview, and Love Street Playhouse in Woodland are teaming up to present The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge, which “will leave you guffawing and cheering!”
Random fact: I was supposed to go up to meet the cast and attend some rehearsals but instead will be at auditions for the LA production of China – The Whole Enchilada, which Backstage called “a laugh riot.”
