Yep. On Tuesday, Aug 25, you can go to IHOP and eat a short stack of pancakes for $1 and help the hungry.
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 25, IHOP will donate 50 cents of every $1 stack of buttermilk pancakes to No Kid Hungry in an effort to reach their goal of providing 2.5 million meals this year.
“The simple act of feeding kids a healthy breakfast can have a dramatic impact on their academic, health and economic futures,” Billy Shore, founder and CEO of Share our Strength, said in a statement.
In addition to the short stack promo, IHOP will continue to ask for donations throughout the month on its receipts and promote the No Kid Hungry campaign online and through social media.
So on Tuesday, eating a short stack at IHOP helps feed a child.
