Alabama Shakespeare Festival will present Around the World in 80 Days as part of Montgomery Theatre Week in Montgomery, AL April 18 - 21. Now I don't want to pick nits here but April 18 - 21 is not a week. It's not even a work week. Maybe they should rename it Montgomery Theatre Long Weekend. And I love ASF's poster for the show. Since the premiere of my show Around the World in 80 Days, I've had to constantly deal with two misconceptions about the play: 1. There's a balloon in the story. 2.
