Alabama Shakespeare Festival will present Around the World in 80 Days as part of Montgomery Theatre Week in Montgomery, AL April 18 – 21. Now I don’t want to pick nits here but April 18 – 21 is not a week. It’s not even a work week. Maybe they should rename it Montgomery Theatre Long Weekend.

And I love ASF’s poster for the show. A balloon. The balloon scenes in my play are probably the most dramatic and suspenseful. I’m quite proud of them. You can read more about the thrilling balloon scenes here in my playwright’s notes.
