The Nutley Little Theatre in Nutley, NJ will perform a reading of my script The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m.

This is from the Nutley Little Theatre website:

Mark Brown’s imagined sequel to Dickens’ famous “Christmas Carol” takes place a year after the title character’s miraculous transformation. But Scrooge is back to his old ways, suing Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future for breaking and entering, kidnapping, slander, pain and suffering, attempted murder and the infliction of emotional distress.

The reading will be directed by Helen Exel of Nutley, and features David Rieth of Montclair, Marvin Krieger of Hoboken, Dickson Lane of West Orange, Ken Moore of Glen Ridge, Don Sheffrin of Little Falls, Celest Fasone of Woodland Park, Kathryn Lombardy of Wayne, Robin Edinger of Linden, and Rich Spector, Maggie Spector-Williams, Molly Spector-Williams, and Carol Williams, all of Nutley.

This event will be staged as a fundraiser for NLT, and while admission is free, donations to the theater will be appreciated.

All performances will be held at 47 Erie Place, Nutley, NJ
